Laurence Picken, a care worker employed by Kennedy Recruitment on a temporary basis for nearly 10 years, has won the “Agency Care Worker” category of the “One in a Million Award”. The award is bestowed annually by the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) - the trade association for the UK’s recruitment and staffing industry. Laurence and 13 other category winners will attend a House of Commons reception on 4th June where the overall winner will be announced and presented with their award by Employment Minister, Pat McFadden.
